<p>An EL light emitting device in which lowering of emission intensity can be prevented as much as possible while exhibiting excellent waterproof/moisture-proof effect. The EL light emitting device (1) comprises an EL light emitting layer (26) having an EL light emitting body and constituting a planar light emitting region, and an electrode part (20) having a first electrode (16) and a second electrode (18) of specified pattern disposed closely to each other on one face side of the EL light emitting layer while being insulated electrically through a boundary region. To the other face side of the EL light emitting layer, a body (11) for forming an AC field in the EL light emitting layer when an AC power supply voltage is applied between the first and second electrodes can be stuck, and a synthetic-resin waterproof layer (30) is provided between the first and second electrodes and the EL light emitting layer.</p> |
