Ski binding with diagonal release

The binding has a bearing block (B) mounted on a base plate and supporting a swivel head (K) with sole holder which is mounted on or together with the vertical swivel axis (H) on the bearing block to swivel sideways relative to same. A virtual or proper vertical side swivel axis (Q) can be provided centrally between the swivel head and vertical swivel axis. The side swivel axis can cross the vertical swivel axis.
