<p>The object of the present invention is to present an operation apparatus of an automatic transmission to be favorable for the vehicles of the A/T type, in which automatic transmission of automobiles is electrically controllable by using the shift lever (1) having a single knob and further a detent of each driving position is effected with reliablity. The operation apparatus is structured such that there are provided A/T switch (23) for transmitting the electric signals corresponding to desirable driving positions to the transmission side by operating a shift lever (1) swingably, and an actuator (19) of the electrically-driven type for removing the contact pin (11) to inhibit the movement of the shift lever (1) upon a predetermined condition of automobiles from a contact slit (1j) provided on the detent plate (1a). <IMAGE></p> |
