PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel enabling a chisel to be smoothly drawn without disturbance by a lid, although conventionally the lid can easily be opened but a top plate of the lid acting as a suppoing member is placed under a handle of the chisel projecting from a vessel body, so that a finger contacts with the top plate of the lid when drawing the chisel to disadvantageously disturb the drawing of the chisel. SOLUTION: For using the vessel, the closed lid member 4 is pulled most backwardly, and the lid member 4 is turned downwardly with respect to a connecting member 8 and the connecting member 8 is turned downwardly with respect to the vessel body 1 to move the lid member 4 downwardly to open the lid member 4. The connecting member 8 and the front bottom surface of the vessel body 1 cooperate using the turned connecting member 8 as the spindle to support the entire vessel, and the lid member 4 is placed flat under the vessel. |
