PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding container, in which recessions, into which elastic locking tongues formed on side walls to be erected first can be inserted, are formed on the bottom, and droopy insertion strips that can be inserted in the recessions are formed on side walls to be erected later, so that the coming of an item in the container into the recessions formed on the bottom can be prevented. SOLUTION: The folding container comprises the bottom 1 and the four side walls 2, 3 which are coupled to the bottom via hinges, and the container can be folded by superimposing the side walls on the bottom. The recessions 1a1, into which the elastic locking tongues 5 formed on the side walls 3 to be erected first can be inserted, are formed on the bottom 1.
