PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing water splash preventing device for a car washing machine between a car washing device for drying a body and another treatment device, requiring a smaller storage space, having sufficient rigidity to prevent easy deformation due to wind or the like and offering smooth elevating motion and a sufficient splash preventing function. SOLUTION: A plurality of shield plates elevatable on a track are provided with level differences for restricting lowering on the track. The shield plates are elevated or lowered to be changed from a longitudinally overlapped condition at an upper storage position to a ranging-over condition with vertical level differences.
