PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for scattering baits at any depth without exchanging a scattering bait cage in a vertical fishing and a distant cast fishing. SOLUTION: The device for scattering baits at an aimed depth has the following characteristics. An upper fixed cage lid 8 joined to a fixed inner core rod 5 is provided above the upper projection 9 of a cage pressing movable rod 6, and above the upper fixed cage lid 8, the fixed inner core rod 5 and the cage pressing mobile rod 6 are in closest parallel proximity to each other. The parallel portion of the fixed inner core rod 5 and the cage pressing movable rod 6 is threaded through an inner core rod through hole 3 at the approximate center of a float 4 lower in specific gravity than water, the float 4 is movable with the help of its own buoyancy in the longitudinal direction outside the fixed inner core rod 5 and the cage pressing movable rod 6, the respective supports of the fixed inner core rod 5 and the cage pressing movable rod 6 can be changed with each other, there is a moving cage fixing rod 11 having a diameter or width greater than the gap at the parallel portion between the fixed inner core rod 5 and the cage pressing movable rod 6, the moving cage fixing rod 11 is movable between an upper gap 17a and a lower gap 17b for holding a moving cage 14, and the moving cage 14 interlocks with the moving cage fixing rod 11.
