PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting composite magnetic shielding material by which a magnetic field hardly enter into a thin superconducting multilayered cylinder when the material is used in the cylinder. SOLUTION: This superconducting composite magnetic shielding material is obtained by adjacently arranging superconducting multilayered plates each composed of a compound material of a metal superconductive material and a≥80% IACS material having favorable electric conductivity on the outside to the magnetic shielding material formed by alternately semicircularly bending portions held between slits cut into a superconducting plate by one or more rolls so as to surround the shielding material.
