PURPOSE: A soaking and washing method of a washing machine is provided to improve convenience by minimizing the operational number of a process unit for soaking and washing, and to check washing course easily by turning on a light emitting diode during soaking. CONSTITUTION: Washing, rinsing and dehydration courses are selected in applying power to a washing machine(S11,S12). Soaking, washing, rinsing and dehydrating are selected simultaneously by operating the process unit one time(S13). Dehydration course is selected by operating the process unit additionally for washing excluding soaking course(S14), and rinsing and dehydrating courses are selected by operating additionally(S15). Dehydration course is canceled, and rinsing course is selected by operating additionally(S16). Rinsing and washing courses are selected by operating additionally(S17). The rinsing course is canceled, and the washing course is selected by operating additionally(S18). |
