PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharply recognize animation (dynamic image) until ending the animation while the animation is displayed on a radio communication device provided with a liquid crystal display and a back light. SOLUTION: When a key operation for displaying the animation on the liquid crystal display is carried out ('YES' in step S2), after the animation ends ('YES' in step S5), a control part turns off the back light (step S7). While the animation is displayed, the displayed animation is illuminated by the back light, and a user sharply recognizes the animation until the end of the animation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
