<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a use stopping device of an IC card applicable to the generally-circulating IC card and operable from a long-distance place. <P>SOLUTION: A receiver 3 is connected to an antenna 2, and a desired frequency is selected, amplified and detected (demodulated) from among many radio waves received by the antenna 2, and thereby command information comprising an intra-office call number, an operation code and a personal identification number is acquired, and compared by a comparator 4 with the intra-office call number, the operation code and the personal identification number stored in a memory. In the case of agreement, a switch 6 is switched to the ON state to close a high voltage power supply circuit 7 comprising an induction coil, a capacitor and a battery, and a high voltage current is made to flow between two electrodes 8, 8, and an IC chip a of the IC card 9 inserted between the electrodes 8, 8 is broken by discharge. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
