PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high-speed signal processing using a plurality of pieces of data simultaneously by connecting a plurality of data memory cells in series, reading out retained data from the data memory cells simultaneously, and then performing a predetermined processing, and also realize a data processor which can perform a predetermined processing while scanning memory data sequentially at a timing of data input. SOLUTION: The data processor transfers and holds data input from an input terminal sequentially via each of the data memory cells using a data memory portion to which the plurality of the data memory cells are connected in series, and simultaneously outputs data held in the data memory cells via a plurality of data lines. In a data processing portion, a predetermined signal processing is performed using a plurality of pieces of data simultaneously read out from the data memory portion, thereby enabling simultaneous access to the plurality of pieces of the data and making the signal processing faster and more efficient.
