<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change an actual sales price of an article to be sold by one bar code read operation, while reducing a processing load in a host apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A bar code reader reads collectively two kinds of bar codes different in figure numbers, by a reading part. When one of the two kinds of read bar codes is a first bar code recorded with article information, and when the other is a second bar code of which the figure number is lower than the that in the first bar code, and recorded with information indicating that the article information is not changed, the article information demodulated from the first bar code is output to the supervising device. Then, the article information demodulated from the first bar code, and changed information demodulated from the third bar bode are output to the supervising device, when one is the first bar code, and when the other is the third bar code of which the figure number is lower than the that in the first bar code, and recorded with the changed information of the article information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
