<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket booking server for giving an opportunity to buy a ticket to a user who really wants to buy the ticket. <P>SOLUTION: This ticket booking server 50 accepts ticket booking registration from a user terminal 10 during a ticket booking applicant registration period. Booking reservation for the same ticket by the same user is accepted only one time. The ticket booking server 50 performs lottery that determines a ticket subscriber with ticket booking applicants as a target during a ticket applicant lottery period. The ticket booking server 50 urges a ticket applicant to update (continue, cancel or the like) ticket booking during a ticket applicant update/cancellation period. The ticket booking server 50 updates information about ticket subscribers and ticket booking applicants according to the existence/absence, etc., of reception of booking update information from user terminals 10 of the ticket subscribers.
