The invention concerns a method for making secure transactions carried out by means of media such as bank cards and the like, said method consisting in sending through a merchant an authorisation or payment request to a server, said request comprising data concerning the transaction and terms and conditions for reading data on the medium used, the method further consisting in: associating with each medium a means for communication with the bearer of the medium, using the data included in the authorisation or payment request to determine risky transactions and sending to the bearer a message indicating a risky transaction, after the bank has authorised the transaction.
