<p>A hand-held pneumatic hammer for general-purpose construction applications has a vibration-suppression cylinder incorporating a forward and rear passages which are linked with each other. The cylinder has first and second air apertures which are linked with the front and rear passages. The front passage has a valve which may be selected open and closed with respect to the passages. A piston with an extension is located in the rear passage. The cylinder is surrounded by a bush, from which it is separated by an air chamber, which is linked to the second air passage.</p> |
