FIELD: medicine, particularly, anthropology (anatomy); applicable in obtaining contours of various cross-sections of man trunk and extremities in horizontal, vertical and intermediate planes. SUBSTANCE: multipurpose profilometer consists of body and needles installed for motion. Body is made channel and provided with straightening strip, retainers connected with holding-down strip and ruler installed for motion. Needles are made with end limiters. Ruler is made with end limiters. EFFECT: simplified measurements and increased their accuracy, extended functional potentialities of multipurpose profilometer. 2 cl, 1 dwg
