PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for analyzing a motion in the three- dimensional space of an object. SOLUTION: An acceleration component data managing unit 11 obtains the acceleration component values of axial directions of three axes perpendicular to each other of detected acceleration output from an acceleration sensor 5. A gravity acceleration component managing unit 13 detects the acceleration component as a gravity acceleration component, when the amplitude of the acceleration obtained by combining the acceleration components falls within a predetermined range. A motion acceleration component calculating unit 14 calculates the acceleration components of motion showing the acceleration of the motion of the object, by removing the gravitational acceleration component detected by the unit 13 from the acceleration component obtained by the unit 11 for each directional component. A moving quantity calculating unit 15 calculates the moving direction or the moving quantity in the three- dimensional space of the object based on the calculated acceleration components of motion.
