PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition imparting a biocidal synergist activity to a latex paint, an uncured coating material, an uncured sealant, an uncured adhesive or related products to be stored. SOLUTION: This composition comprises an N-alkylethanolamine or an N,N-dialkylethanolamine (wherein, each N-alkyl group is independently a 3-12C straight-chain or a 3-12C branched chain alkyl group) used in combination with a biocide for stabilizing the latex paint, uncured coating, uncured sealant, uncured adhesive or related products to be stored.
