PURPOSE: An installation structure for an embankment using a cylindrical fish block is provided to protect a river ecosystem. CONSTITUTION: The installation structure for an embankment using a cylindrical fish block comprises the steps of placing footing rubbles(100) on the lowermost part adjacent to bank protection and placing footing concrete(200) on the footing rubbles(100), installing primary cylindrical fish blocks(400) and secondary cylindrical fish blocks(500) on the footing concrete(200), forming a primary semicircular groove on the primary cylindrical fish block(400), forming secondary semicircular grooves and a fish moving hole(530) on the lateral sides and the center of the secondary cylindrical fish block(500) respectively, forming a cylindrical fish habitat when coupling cylindrical fish blocks(400,500) horizontally, forming many anchor holes on the upper and lower parts of the cylindrical fish blocks(400,500), interposing an FRP anchor(700) to the anchor hole and placing concrete(300) on the cylindrical fish blocks(400,500) to bear earth pressure, and installing a concrete embankment(800) on the uppermost part where cylindrical fish blocks(400,500) are installed.
