摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which a fringe pattern caused by the effect due to potential fluctuation of pixel electrodes that are adjacent to each other through a parasitic capacitor (a capacitive coupling) between the electrodes in a driving method such as a pseudo dot reversal driving. SOLUTION: In the pseudo dot reversal driving, pixel electrodes that belong to an arbitrary row include the pixel electrodes to which corresponding display signal voltages are supplied first and the pixel electrodes to which corresponding display signal voltages are supplied later. These pixel electrodes are made adjacent to each other and include pixel electrodes in which the polarities of the display signal voltages are made different with respect to adjacent pixel electrodes. Prior to supplying the corresponding display signal voltages to the adjacent pixel electrodes, spare voltages having same polarities of the display signal voltages corresponding to the pixel electrodes are supplied to the pixel electrodes to which corresponding display signal voltages are supplied later.
