PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more quickly display a full-color image in a limited color. SOLUTION: A limited color display device 1 is provided with a color map 11 for making a full color formed with n color components correspond to a limited color formed with m color components (1<m<n), a memory reservation part 12 for reserving a memory area for storing a color map 11, in a storage device 4, a full-color image collection part 15 for collecting full-color images which should have the full color made to correspond to a plurality of pixels, and a limited-color image display part 16 which refers to the color map 11 to convert a full-color image to a limited-color image which should have the limited color made to correspond to a plurality of pixels. The limited color display device 1 derives the limited color corresponding to the full color more quickly than derivation based on calculation and more quickly displays newly collected full-color images on a display device 3 in the limited color.
