<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide article storage equipment capable of preventing a picking worker from being brought into contact with a palette or a container during conveyance. <P>SOLUTION: When transfer operation of a palette P (an article F) with a stacker crane occurs against each picking storage part M, an indicator lamp for an illuminated push button switch 26 on the picking storage part M flickers to announce the occurrence of the transfer operation. The occurrence of the transfer operation in common with the notification is indicated on a touch panel display of a handy terminal 30 carried by a picking operator H. With the constitution, the picking operator H receives the announce as a warning to prohibit the operation, and cancels the operation against the picking storage part M where the transfer operation is being performed. This enables to avoid contact of the worker H with the palette transported by the stacker crane, thus ensuring the safety of the operator H. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
