PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gradation decoration tool with a new structure which enables to realize a color tone pattern freely changing shades of color by using narrow wood pieces obtained by a plurality of times of dyeing processes. SOLUTION: The first group narrow wood pieces 21 and 21 firstly dyed, the second group narrow wood pieces 22 and 22 secondly dyed by filling up a diluent to a remaining dye solution, the third group narrow wood pieces 23 and 23 thirdly dyed by filling up again the diluent, and the fourth group narrow wood pieces 24 and 24 fourthly dyed by repeating a similar dyeing, are dried. The narrow wood pieces by appropriate numbers of pieces each among the groups from the first group most darkly dyed to the last group most lightly dyed are arranged and combined in a stepwise pattern of color tone, and are integrated into a required shape.
