<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce impact in the case of flip-up turning of a projecting board such as an appliance operation desk. <P>SOLUTION: The turning mechanism 10 of the projecting board 9 supported by the side face member 4 of the main body 1a of the appliance operation desk 1 in the state of being turnable upward is provided with: a sliding member (slide pin 14) fitted to the neighborhood of the deep end of the projecting board extending deeper than the turning support 12 of the board 9 or a projecting member projecting toward a depth; a following lever 20 obtained by connecting the sliding member slidably to a distal end part in a longitudinal direction; and a turning damper 15 for pivotally stopping the proximal end of the lever 20 to a main body 1a such as the desk so that the damper 15 may be turned linked with the board 9 via the sliding member and the lever 20. The board 9 is provided with a means to prevent turning to an angle not higher than a horizontal level. The lever 20 comes into a forward tilting attitude lower than a right angle when the board 9 is horizontal and comes into the forward tilting attitude not lower than the horizontal level when the board is at a right angle to turn with these two points as limits. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
