PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dish washer and a dish cage which enables dishes to be washed thoroughly. SOLUTION: Washing water jetted upward from a nozzle arm 7 is made to reach above a lower cage 42 through a clearance S between rows of bowls which are held in one row on a bowl holding part 47 and soup cups which are held in one row on a soup cup holding part 48. Glasses and tea cups are held in the front row of the rear cage 45 and in the front cage 44 so that the opening parts (drinking opening) thereof face the side of the clearance S. The glasses held in the rear row of the rear cage 45 are washed with the washing water jetted from a fixed nozzle 16 mounted on the rear internal surface of a washing tank 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
