PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stalk and leaf processing machine for potato, enabling the processing work meeting with the state of the ridge and finely crushing the removed stalks and leaves to facilitate the harvesting work and reduce the labor for the removal of stalks and leaves from the harvested potato. SOLUTION: The processing machine is provided with a rake-in belt 3 to collect the stalks and leaves of potato, a drawing transfer belt 5 to clamp the stalk and leaf of the potato raked in with the rake-in belt 3 with a pair of belts and transport the stalk, etc., slantly upward, an upper transfer belt 7 to hold a part of the stalk and leaf with a pair of belts during the transportation with the drawing transfer belt 5 and further transport the stalk, etc., slantly upward, a guide roller 10 placed under the rear end of the upper transfer belt 7 to further guide the stalk, etc., downward, a feed roller 11 placed under the guide roller 10 to firmly hold the stalk, etc., and feed downward at a prescribed speed, and a stalk and leaf crusher 13 placed under the feed roller 11.
