STRIP GUIDING APPARATUS HAVING STRIP DROOP PREVENTING FUNCTION

PURPOSE: A strip guiding apparatus having strip droop preventing function is provided to stably connect preceding strip to following strip by changing the strip so that both edge parts of strip are directed upward, thereby guiding the strip to strip connector in the state that the strip is prevented from drooping to the lower side. CONSTITUTION: The strip guiding apparatus having strip droop preventing function comprises a semi-curved type elastic body(30) fixed to elastic supports(12,12a) installed at both sides of strip admission part of connector for pressing thus connecting preceding strip and following strip; a semi-curved type plate spring(19) fixed to curved line guide grooves formed on both side parts of the semi-curved type elastic body(30) by means of pulling plates(28,28a); a vertical operating bar(34) which is fixed to the central part of the semi-curved type plate spring(19), and on one side surface of which rack gear(23) is formed; a driving motor(22) to which pinion gear(20) engaged with the rack gear(23) of the vertical operating bar(34) is axially connected so that the driving motor(22) is fixed onto fixing base(36); a guide roller(21) which is inserted into rotation shaft(32) connected to the driving motor(22) by connector(31) so that the guide roller(21) touches the rear surface of the vertical operating bar(34); and a flexible connection pipe(16a) connected to a plurality of inlets(25) formed on the upper surface of the semi-curved type elastic body(30) so that the plurality of inlets(25) are connected to outer suction line(16).
