PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the power conversion efficiency of a composite resonant converter corresponding to the heavy load of a load current of 200 W or more. SOLUTION: The composite resonant converter comprising in combination a current resonant converter of a full bridge coupling having four switching elements Q1 to Q4 at a primary side, a partial voltage resonance circuit, and a partial voltage resonance circuit at a secondary side; and the gap of cores of an insulating converter transformer PIT is set to zero, a coupling coefficient of a primary winding and a secondary winding is set to close coupling of about 0.95, and a primary side DC input rectifier is constituted of a full wave rectifier circuit.
