PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring clutch compact in axial length. SOLUTION: A pulley hub 2 assembled inside a pulley 1 is composed of an output shaft 2a and a sleeve 2b fitted to the outer side of the output shaft 2a to be stopped. The outer peripheral face of a clutch spring 12 is elastically abutted on a cylindrical clutch face 11 formed on the inner periphery of the pulley 1, one end of the clutch spring 12 is engaged with the sleeve 2b, and the axial length of the spring clutch is miniaturized by reducing the number of turns of the clutch spring 12.
