PURPOSE: If an acceleration condition is decided after ignition of an engine, an acceleration fuel is further supplied to prevent acceleration disorder after start. CONSTITUTION: A method for compensating acceleration fuel amount comprises a step of deciding an acceleration condition by a throttle opening degree change and a load change. If it is decided as an acceleration condition, a weight vector value is calculated to a mapped acceleration fuel amount, and the mapped acceleration fuel amount is added to supply to the engine. If the engine is decided as an acceleration condition in a normal idle state, a weight vector and 1 is added to the acceleration fuel amount.
