<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for information recording medium and an information recording medium which are excellent in external appearance. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of coated layers are formed at least on a part of the surface of the member for the information recording medium, and colors which are larger in the number than the actually coated layers come out by forming a pearl pigment containing coating for the outermost layer of the coated layers.
