<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of not being able to accurately evaluate the output and power generation quantity of a solar battery because formulae and methods for converting a measured I-V curve of the solar battery to an I-V curve under reference solar radiation intensity and the reference temperature of the solar battery, and for reverse conversion are not established, while an I-V curve checker for evaluating the output of the solar battery is used in general. <P>SOLUTION: The I-V curve of a solar battery measured by an I-V curve checker is converted (S38) by using a variety of accurate and versatile conversion formulae and conversion methods, and the converted I-V curve is compared with the I-V curves (S42, S45) derived from characteristic values that are specific to the solar battery for evaluation. In addition, the measured I-V curve (S32) is compared with the I-V curves (S44, S56, S67) derived from characteristic values that are specific to the solar battery under solar radiation intensity and the temperature of the solar battery at the time of the measurement for evaluation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
