PURPOSE: A PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) and a service method for detecting and treating virus of the same are provided to efficiently detect the virus from the PDA having a function for connecting to the CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) or the wireless-LAN(Local Area Network), and to cure the detected virus. CONSTITUTION: An antenna(100) and a wireless communication module(102) communicate with a base station and an access point. A control module(104) undertakes entire control of the terminal. A volatile memory(112) such as a DRAM(Dynamic Random Access Memory) stores a commercial application software. A nonvolatile memory(114) such as a flash memory or an EEPROM(Electronically Erasable Programmable ROM) stores an OS(Operating System) such as the Windows CE. A wired communication module(116) and a connector(118) communicate with a PC through a signal cable. An input part(106) inputs data and selects the function. A display driver module(108) and a display(106) display information.
