METHOD FOR CORRECTING DEFECT PART OF BLACK MATRIX, AND COLOR FILTER MANUFACTURED BY USING THE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting a defect part of a black matrix so that a corrected part can not be visually confirmed even if a color filter is lit as a display device after the defect part is corrected when the defect part caused at the black matrix of a color filter is corrected, and to provide the color filter corrected by the method.

SOLUTION: The method for correcting the defect part of the black matrix in the color filter having a color layer and the black matrix on a transparent substrate has; a step for removing the black matrix including the defect part and the color layer in the vicinity of the black matrix by irradiating the black matrix including the defect part and the color layer in the vicinity of the black matrix including the defect part with a laser beam; and a step for applying a color agent for correction having the same color as that of the removed color layer on the part removed by the removing step.
