PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure of rod members of a fishing rod having adjustable total rod length and enabling smooth fishing operation. SOLUTION: The butt section rod 1 and the middle section rod 2 of the fishing rod are provided with various fitting male parts and fitting female parts formed or arranged on the rods to enable the connection of the rods in retracted state, extended state and intermediate state.
