PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head of an ink jet recorder having a structure where bubbles can be prevented from gathering in ink at the connecting part from a common ink chamber to a connection channel and gathered bubbles, if any, can be discharged easily. SOLUTION: The ink jet head comprises manifold plates 13x and 13y forming the common ink chamber 7, and a spacer plate 14 forming ink supply holes 38 adjacent to the manifold plates 13x and 13y. Openings 38a, 38a,... are formed by opening one end side of the ink supply holes 38 to face the common ink chamber 7 and ink being supplied to the common ink chamber 7 is distributed to the openings 38a, 38a,.... Most downstream end 7a of the wall part of the common ink chamber 7 is located at the opening 38x of the ink supply hole 38 located on the most downstream side of the ink flow. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
