PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for concentrating cells of a biogenous material, i.e., simply concentrating, in a short time, a cell suspension separated from the biogenous material, especially the cell suspension containing stem cells or precursor cells dividing into Langerhans islet or insulin-producing cells and derived from the pancreas. SOLUTION: The method for concentrating cells comprises making the suspension of the cells separated from the biogenous material, e.g. pancreatic cells, pass through a hollow fiber to concentrate the cells of the biogenous material.
