PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and safely connect a power cable to electric fusion couplings having various shapes. SOLUTION: A connector 4 has two electrodes 7, 8 of different types. The electrodes 7, 8 are symmetrically arranged on both sides of a connector body 4a. An electrode guard bar 10 is slidably inserted into the female electrodes 7, 8. When the electrode 7 is fitted on a male electrode 11 on a terminal 51 of an electric fusion coupling 21, the electrode guard bar 10 pushed by the electrode 11 plugs up the inside of the opposite electrode 8.
