<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting control system capable of setting a target value for constant illuminance control and capable of performing accurate constant illuminance control without being influenced by an operator even when the operation is conducted in a brightness sensor detection area of the lighting control system as a subject. <P>SOLUTION: A control device 2 of the lighting control system A performs light dimming of a lighting load 1 so as to be the predetermined illuminance by a dimming rate designation signal from a remote control 3. Then, the control device 2 stores an input value from the brightness sensor 5 as the target value in a predetermined time period after a target value setting signal outputted from the remote control 3 is received, more concretely, after the time passes when the operator is considered to go out of the detection area R of the brightness sensor 5.
