PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery case in which a battery having different length can be installed easily. SOLUTION: This is a battery case 10 in which one of a terminal 13 is provided on a side wall 11a which divides a battery housing chamber 12 and a lever unit 16 for battery locking is provided on a wall 11b provided in vertical direction to the side wall. The lever unit 16 of this battery case 10 has a pawl 19, 22 for battery locking at the top end, and the other terminal for battery connection is provided on this pawl 19, 22. And the lever unit is made of a plurality of levers 17, 18 having a different distance from one of the terminal to the other terminal corresponding to the type of battery, and each pawl 19, 22 is provided in free movement forward and backward respectively to the battery housing chamber 12.
