PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult to automatically and flexibly make reservations for desired broadcasting (broadcast program) repeatedly (continuously) in a conventional broadcasting reception device. SOLUTION: A broadcasting reception device is so constituted that a reservation for repeated reception of broadcasting is set and a reservation period is set to the reservation. The number of times, a date as a limit of the period or the like can be set as the reservation period. This information set by a user is stored in a non-volatile memory. When a timer is used, a broadcast program can be stored in a large-capacity storage medium by turning on a switch at the time of set reservation to start the broadcasting reception device and making a tuner select a designated channel.
