Spatial co-ordinate positioning of order-picking appts. in warehouse

For all modules (MO-M11) of the warehouse (HR), the actual values of spatial co-ordinates are stored in a first memory for a single reference space (P1), w.r.t. which the co-ordinates of all other spaces (PO,P2-P8) are stored in a second memory. The position to be approached by the appts. is obtd. by addn. of the module co-ordinates and the invariant space co-ordinates of the compartment to be addressed within the module concerned. This gives the most exact approach possible in spite of the build-up of positional tolerances.
