<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an optical head in such a manner that good characteristics are obtained when the optical head corresponding to a plurality of kinds of optical recording media in particular are formed by correcting the astigmatisms and coma aberrations generated in transmission through a beam splitter plate without deviating the positions of the light source from optical axes. <P>SOLUTION: A wedge-like optical element 6 disposed on the optical path between a light source 1 and the beam splitter plate 2 corrects the comatic aberrations generated by the transmission of luminous fluxes through the beam splitter plate 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
