<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delay circuit and a delay method for setting the transition point of a signal to a fixed point, regardless of the variation of the power supply voltage. <P>SOLUTION: A circuit constitutional portion (constituted of first and second PMOS transistors 406 and 407 and a second capacitor 408) for supplying a charge quantity according to a power supply voltage level to a node A1 of a delay chain portion responding to an input signal is provided. The transition point of the signal is set to the fixed point, regardless of the power supply voltage level by delaying the speed for the node A1 to drop down to a low level, when the power supply voltage level is high. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
