The separator has a flow channel (2) provided with a channel wall (3) and a channel inner part. A loading electrode (4) e.g. corona electrode, extends in the channel inner part in a flow direction for formation of an electrical field between the loading electrode and the channel wall. A particle deviation unit prevents deposition of particles at high voltage-feed through units (5, 6). The loading electrode is provided with an electrical insulation unit (8) i.e. non-conducting casing element, in a partial area. The insulation unit consists of ceramic tube. An independent claim is also included for a heating system, which comprises a biomass-heating unit.
