<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transaction method for a face-to-face transaction using a portable terminal machine wherein a salesperson making a transaction can grasp customer information at a site of the transaction such as a salesroom, a transaction with little mistakes and a proper transaction can be carried out, processing work of increasing and reducing negotiable objects can be carried out on the site, and the customer can also accurately grasp transaction contents and increase, reduction and the present situation of the negotiable objects. <P>SOLUTION: By issuing a transaction member number to the customer, storing the member number in association with the customer in a server 1, inputting the member number disclosed by speech, characters or a bar code into the portable terminal machine 2 of the salesperson and sending it to the server 1, a part of customer information and negotiable value information of the customer of the member number managed by the server 1 is sent to the portable terminal machine 2 of the salesperson and it is displayed. The salesperson confirms the customer, inputs information of transaction contents between a store and the customer into a mobile telephone 2 of the salesperson, and sends it to the server 1.
