PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-temperature plate fin heat exchanger, where high- temperature gas distributes at the side of a plate fin 2, offering simple construction permitting reasonable absorption of thermal stress. SOLUTION: The plate fin 2 constituting a core 4 has a slit or slit louver 5 formed between tube insertion holes 1.
