PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling tool for a container having a simple structure of which a coupled portion can be used as a handle by coupling a plurality of containers. SOLUTION: The coupling tool for the container can be used as the handle by having a plurality of substantially annular opening portions which are to be inserted into a neck portion of the container with the opening portion changeable in size by a cutting line. The opening portion is increased in size by extending the cutting line, and got over an annular projecting rib of the container at attaching; the opening portion is decreased in size by shortening the cutting line and prevented from a movement in an axial direction in a condition abutted against a peripheral face of the neck portion after the attachment in the coupling tool for the container.
