Air supply elements for textile machines, are formed using a dual component injection moulding technique

A process for producing air supply elements for textile machines, consists of a dual component injection moulding technique. In a first step an element is produced with at least one entrance opening (4) and at least one hollow system (7). In a second step, a sealing material is supplied via the entrance opening, to fill the hollow section. The sealing material is elastic and free from fibres. One of the elements of the system contains seals and the elements are joined together via slots (9) and/or cut outs (12), and projections (10) and/or extensions (11). The elements consist of plastic.
